Our Community
At TRG we feel that it is important to contribute positively to the communities in which we work and live. This page is about some of the organizations that are important to us and we hope you will visit their websites and read about the good things they do and support they provide.
If you ever have an opportunity to visit our office at Royal Centre in Vancouver, you’ll see some amazing art displayed acquired through our support for the Artist’s for Kids Trust. The trust is a great example of generous partnership of some of Canada’s finest artists and the North Vancouver School District to build art education programs for the children of British Columbia. We are proud to have our own Jean Mill on the Board of Artist’s for Kids.
Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver
Craig Hewson has long been a supporter of this iconic organization and has been a “big brother” himself. Today Craig continues his commitment to Big Brothers by sitting on its Vancouver Board and by acting as Captain for TRG’s Big Brother’s Bowling team.
Year after year campers and counselors from across Canada are reunited at camp, sharing smiles, laughter, stories, and fun.
The children who attend camp are all confronted by similar issues in their lives, many live in difficult socio-economic situations and are unable to afford a camp experience and for this reason the Western Canadian Pediatric AIDS Society (WCPAS) provides camp and all transportation at no cost to families.
Dorsal Academy is an independent school in White Rock, British Colombia serving the educational needs of children with learning difficulties and learning disabilities such as Dyslexia and other language based learning challenges. In addition to providing the school with much needed financial support, we have also ‘donated’ one of our own Directors, Patrick Burkart to the Board of Dorsal Academy.
An epic bicycle journey from Vancouver to Seattle to raise funds in support of the BC Cancer Agency, the ride is now in its third year and our Managing Director, Greg Pallone, has been riding in the event in each of the rides including the 2011 ride this June. TRG proudly sponsors the Rogers Group Financial Cycling Team on which Greg rides.
One of the most effective local fundraising organizations to help people living with HIV/Aids, The Shooting Stars Foundation connects the local Arts community and philanthropy. TRG is proud to be an active participant through the efforts of our Bill Watt who continues to devote many hours of volunteer work for the organization.

Vancouver College Football Vancouver Lacrosse
We have many ageless athletes at TRG so it is no surprise that we devote a lot of our time to children’s sports programs like the fighting Irish of Vancouver College, the Vancouver Lacrosse Association, and Junior Hockey all over the lower mainland of British Columbia.
Partnering with White Spot Ltd., one of our long-standing clients, TRG is happy to have been a sponsor of the Band’s community trailer. You can catch them performing at many competitions around North America.
The Tabitha Foundation, through its development programs, is helping the people of Cambodia lift themselves from poverty and rebuild their communities and society. Bill and Susan Watt spent 3 weeks in Cambodia this past year swinging a hammer building houses
